Hi,  I was in Canada for more than 2 and a half years with Temporary work permit and now back in India.  Now again my employer is initiating the process to get work permit.

Question:  is there any policy that i have to work outside Canada for atleast a year in last 3 years ?   will this affect ?

I have returned from Canada 6 months ago, which make me only 6 months outside Canada. I have been with the same employer for around 5 years now..  Please help

No, only work permits issued after 01/04/11 the maximum will be 4 years, with a 4 year return home.
