Hi guys. I withdrew my application from Buffalo and I re-applied to Sydney requesting that my file be sent to my home country at this time. I re-applied in September 18 and they received it on September 20. However, I think it is taking to looking for Sydney to send the AOR. The first time it took them 21 days. Is it the normal time now? Anyone?

They received my application around Oct 10th 2009. Still nothing....they have not even cashed my check yet.
This is my second application. I had applied once in Jan 2009 and they replied back within a month. Unfortunately for me, I didnt get that that notification and so the consulate in Buffalo waited for 4 months and closed my file!

My application reached NS on 02/10/09 no reply, the date when DD is cashed is not a correct method, bcz if you check the thread by Oct'09 Applicants, you will find that some people where checking with there banks and banks were replying DD still outstanding, e.g. a gentlemen asked his bank on 28th Nov, bank said still his DD is outstanding but next day he received AOR from NS which says your payment was cleared on 17th/10. The DD, money order are confirmed as CIO knows that banks have issued these with securing money they just verify its original or fake, in case of CC they need to get authorisation therefore it delays the process. So in summary DD cash date is not a good indicator for AOR from CIO, but current time is 60-70 days as of today Sep27 and Sep 28 applicants are receiving their AOR. Just chill and keep fingers crossed. Good luck

Hey Santos

I heard on this forum that CIO is taking 2 to 3 months now. So you might have to wait till mid Dec.

Can anyone confirm the time length for CIO reply nowadays is 2 to 3 months.

yes average days for Sep cases were 65 days and only 1 Oct 1st case (only cases on forums) has received ARO, today couple of 27th and 28th Sep people got their AOR. So AOR from NS time is now b/w 65-75 days, am thinking what will happen to buffalo cases, which is already processing too slow.
