realized that I didn't completely fill out the form... what should I do?

I am an international student at a reputable school in the US and I'm two months away from getting my degree. Last summer, I sent my application for the visitor visa at Buffalo and got it within 10 days (6-7 excluding mailing). Recently, I filed another application, but I forgot to include it in the form that I have got a visitor visa before. My parents are trying to get the Canadian permanent resident and also on behalf of me. Obviously, my recently expired Canadian visitor visa is in that passport, but the only information about my previous visa applications to Canada were my parents' application for permanent resident. It's been 8 days...

How long after the visa office receive the applications should I be concerned?

Could my mistake/omission on the form have delayed my application?

hey I got my stuff back. They only gave me the visa valid until my graduation. the letter from my school is convincing enough that I'll be coming back until my graduation.
