I applied as SW3 and received the Ready for Visa letter about 7 weeks ago from the Detroit office. I sent my passport, landing fee, and other info next day and the office received within 4 days. Does anyone know how long the office takes to stamp the visa? I am checking my mail box everyday.

they usually mention processing time for visa issuance in the letter requesting for passports.

like in my case, LA consulate mentioned that they will return the passport with visa within 15 business days from the day they received it.

Detroit sent my passport and visa two weeks after my mail got there. Did you enclose a paid express-mail envelop?
