Hi there, can anyone pls explain what does this mean? i am i eligible to apply for canadian permanent residency? I am registered nurse working in nz. I have sent the application form with original IELTS certificate on jan 5th. I waited for 6weeks+ then emailed them. I received email from canada immigration saying that NOC cap reached 3152 and they sent all my paper work in regular mail on jan 20th. Today March 24th in nz and i havent received any mail so far. I am doing my paper work on my own, cant afford agents can any kind hearted person pls help me and explain me what to do? where to go? how can i get my documents back? i am i elgible to apply for canadian permanent residency? when and how can i apply? pls post the reply, Thanks

As per CIC guideline a maximum of 1,000 Federal Skilled Worker applications per eligible occupation will be considered for processing each year.
When your application was received by CIO, the cap for your NOC was already filled. As CIO sent returned your application(with fee payment) via regular mail, it may take 1-2 months to reach your address
By the way, you may apply again in July 2011 (2nd year application round will begin on 1st July 2011)
