Dear All,
I have one query regarding my re entry in Canada Toronto. Please help me.

I have a valid working multi entry visa for Toronto valid for the next two years.
I am travelling to my home country India for vacations, however my passport is expiring in May 2012.
When I am coming back to Toronto then I only have 5 months of my passport validity.

I heard that one should have 6 months validity minimum to re enter Canada.
Is it true?
Does that limit me in getting my re entry to Toronto?

Any advice will be of great help.

Dear,

I came to canada 10 years ago wirh work permit and on that time my passport had 5 months valiadtion and I didnt have any problem. One years later my husband came back with almost 6 months(less than 6 m)validation , but they mentioned to him at entry make sure next time your passport will have enough time to expire.

I have a question for you? do you have multientry visa? if you dont have multientry visa, make sure inside canada before leaving get reentry visa.

You should not have a problem , one of my friend had the same situation, He was told by the officer apply before it expires and  he was IN .
