I am checked my e-cas recently and i'm seeing this as follows
1) application received
2) (CIO-S) ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE  and a letter has been mailed
3) RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE
4) VISA OFFICE ELIGIBILITY REVEIW COMPLETED- letter mailed
5) IN PROCESS - PROCESSING HAS BEGAN
In have not received any letter. Do you think i should contact them
your input would be great

I am not an expert at Canadian Immigration.
Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

I misread, you applied in 2007 and why did yours go to CIO? Also how long has it been in process. If they only sent the letter a week ago, then you have nothing to worry but if it was sent 2 months ago, you should contact them.

what do others think?

My visa office is in Kingston Jamaica and i wasn't keeping track of when it
change to IN PROCESS

You started your PR application under the old process, but I wonder why the stages of your e cas status seems to me that your case is going thru the stages of applications under the new rules. I can't figure it out.

Did you mean that in 2007 you submitted application to the Central Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia? Are Jamaican applicants local visa office is the CIO of Sydney Nova Scotia? Seniors please help...

I paid my processing fee and deliver my application and documents at my local visa office.
