Hi guys. This is a question for those of you who had to provided RCMP fingerprint submissions. I sent my fingerprints electronically through Commissionaires. I did this near the end of September and still the RCMP have not finished processing it yet. It's now been almost two months since I applied for the fingerprints. And on the RCMP website, it says that it normally takes two to three business days for electronic fingerprint submissions.
If any of you have done this before, can you please tell me how long it took the RCMP to process them and send them to the Immigration Office? Thanks.

Hi Sask28,

Who did you call to check? The Commissionaires or RCMP? I also did my last Monday, I had them send it directly Buffalo. I didnt check back with them if they have sent it or not...

Regards,

Molson

Hey Molson, I checked by e-mail but you should wait a couple more weeks to ask them. You can find their e-mail address on the RCMP website. Include your TCN number when you inquire.
It's funny how it's taken almost two months for mine to be processed even though the fingerprints were taken in Saskatoon. When I asked them to verify the application they just said that the submission is in their system. Good luck with yours.

Hi Sask28,

Thanks for pointing out, Btw, where can I find the TCN number? I got a paper from the Commissionaires but it does not state TCN number on it.

Any clue?

Do you have the paper "Fingerprint Identification"? It has the fingerprints of both your left and right hands. The TCN number should be at the top of that paper. It's a little hard to find cos it's small. Did the person who took your fingerprints underline it for you?

Guess what, the person who took my fingerprintis didnt give me the  "Fingerprint Identification" paper, he only gave me a paper with my photo, my name, sex, address and return address on it, nothing else, no TCN number stated.

Hmm.. Different Commissionaires provides different services... I'm totally speechless  Lips sealed Just let it be, hope for the best, fingers crossed!
Besides this fingerprint, i also sent them certified criminal record check (name search), hopefully they also consider that as well.

Good luck to you as well!

you can still inquiry to RCMP about it. You can find out how to do that on the RCMP website. The first time I e-mailed RCMP about the fingerprints, I forgot to include the TCN number but they replied and said that they had received it in their system.

hi puniajas,

thank you very much for the infos, really appreciate your help Smiley
my husband submit PCC from dubai and other countries he lived more than 6 mos. when he applied for WP in abu dhabi canadian embassy. he is also under work permit status in canada, 2nd renewal until 2012. so the PCCs he provided were already OK and we don't need to get another copy for our PR application. is that what you mean? but visa office will require PCC here in Canada, which we can easily provide since we are here.

sorry for asking so much questions, pls. bear with me. thanks again...
