If we get ITA on March 22, and if some of us could make it all the way throughout till landing, I propose we should have a meet up group afterward. New life New journey, new ray of hope for the future.

Sure. I'm waiting anxiously for my ITA

OH My Gosh, this forum is the best. This weekend I had family issues and the only thing that helped me to feel better is to refresh this thread...And all my extended family members and friends think I am crazy to want to move to Canada (currently live in the US), so I have no one to talk to about it. My immediate family members are going with the flow and says they'll move with me but I believe deep down they think I am not being serious...sigh...

Action speaks louder than words. Family is important, but I hope you are able to live in a country that you want to live in Wink

My family thought I wasn't serious when I ventured out of Australia (my home of 20+ years) and moved to Canada. They now think I'm quite courageous for making the move. It is never easy relocating/immigrating, and there will be lots of challenges. But I set my goal and chased after it... and is still chasing after it and nobody could change the way I am writing about the story of my life Tongue

My family is very supportive of my move but have forewarned me about the cold. I made the move from India to the UK and now moving from the UK to Canada.

Oh so you are just like me then. I am from the Caribbean...moved to the US as a teen, now trying to move to Canada. You can find places in Canada where the cold isn't too bad. I have been to the UK one November and it was pretty cold.

Halifax Nova Scotia, i'm from the uk been here 2 months, not a lot worse than England.

When the wind is sharp and cold yes its pretty awful.

Generally day to day so far hasn't been too bad, England is probably a bit warmer right now but then again Ontario did have a few random 20ish degree C in the last month.
