If anyone is having / had their application processed through the Rabat, Morocco office?  What has your experience been?
 
We are waiting for news on our process and hoping for the best. It would be nice to hear from some of you...

I'm actually waiting for Medical Instructions. I have applied on february 2011, RBVO april 2011, my file is currently showing on E-cas :

"IN PROCESS"

"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 5, 2011."

For information, I applied as Federal Skilled Worker, on NOC 2151 (architect).

Hello John,

Thanks for your reply!  My husband lives in Morocco and I am in Canada.  I applied for spousal sponsorship in February 2011.  Immigration Canada approved me as a sponsor on March 23.  On March 31, the application for permanent residence was received at the visa office.  Since then, nothing...  My husband and I miss each other so much that I am going to Morocco this summer for one month.  My guess is that my husband won't get his visa before November or December or January at the latest!

Even if it sounds like things are speeding since last few days...

Thank you again for your message.  How do you know there are delays presently? and how so?

I know it is very hot in your country.  I suffer a lot from the heat.  I spent the summer 2010 and the month of December there.  I was mostly in Azemmour, El Jadida, Sidi Bouzid, Casablanca and Rabat.  This summer my husband and I intend to go to Marrakesh, Meknes, Fes and Agadir.  Is there any city you recommend?
