Hello All,

i want to  know the process for withdrawing the old file...I appreciate if any of you can provide me the letter format to be given to High commission...

I think you just have to write a letter on plain paper stating your wish to withdraw.

Hi, I've withdrawn my first application (2008 application) last DEC.2009 to apply for the new one. Hope this will help. Below is the sample letter I submitted to the VO.

Canadian Embassy Manila
Level 6, Tower 2, RCBC Plaza
6819 Ayala Avenue, Makati City
1200 philippines


Dear Sir/ Ma'am:

Good Day!

This is to respectfully inform your good office that I am formally withdrawing my application for Immigrant Visa.  This is in lieu of my refilling under the new Canadian Law.

I hope for your kind consideration regarding this matter.  Thank you very much.
