We are still deciding whether to hire the consultant/ lawyer we picked or go through on our own, it seems pretty easy.
My question is to Egyptian males, was there any problem stating that you have served in the military for those who served? When we talked to the lawyer he said that they do not ask about military service, although there is a question about it in the application forms, so this is making me kinda confused. What does Military service mean? Is it voluntary service, or obligatory service (like in Egypt) or both?

Thanks in Advance

I'm not Egyptian, but any kind of service (voluntary/obligatory/part time duty etc.) is military service.

This only means that they will do a bit of extra security checks, since you have been trained to use weapons. That's all. Pls submit copies of any supporting documents if ur conscripted for the military/retired from service etc. etc.
