Questions regarding Rights of Permanent Residence fees

Dear All,

 I got a letter from CIO New Delhi requesting for medical exam and submit:

1. Complete or provide proof of completion of immigration medical examinations for my self and all family member.
2. Pay the Right of  Permanent Residence fees for myself and spouse.
3. Valid passport of all family members.

For #2, RPRF is $490, is this for entire family for just for applicant and you need to pay separate fees for spouse ?
In what format we need to send this fees i.e. Check, DD or credit card? If this is a DD or check on what name we need to draw it?
Also, please let me know what are the details we need to mentions while sending all these documents?

For #3, is it ok to send the original passport?

I really appreciate your answers for above questions.

Everything is mentioned with RPRF letter please go through it.

You can pay in INR on single Bank draft.

The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada".

4. Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

For the acquisition of permanent resident status $490
This fee is payable by principal applicants (with some exceptions) and accompanying spouses and common-law partners. It must be paid before the immigrant visa is issued overseas or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

The following applicants are not required to pay this fee:

•dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
•protected persons, including Convention refugees.

whats your CHC? if its New Delhi, read post just yesterday we replied here on same forum.

had to give you a +1 as I had read it that everyone had to pay the fee so I was thinking 5 x med fees and 5 x rprf
