Questions! Preparing to land in Vancouver, Ca in OCT 2011.

Hi All,
I'm from India and residing in Bangalore. I got my PR Visa in July 2011. Now that I have Job Offer in hand (location - Vancouver, CA), I'm planning to move and join the company by Oct 2011 end.

Questions
- What is the best method to convert INR to CAD? Options we already know is either get Travel Check or Open Scotia Bank from here. I'm trying to find which one will be cost effective?

- I'm thinking to get some travel insurance initially in India i.e before tavel. I checked ICICI and HDFC found ICICI is better and to take for 80 days. Any suggestions?

- Flight I'm thinking to get it on BA because economic ticket fare is less. Any suggestions?

I can suggest about flight. You can take air china on & near oct 22. Its around 46000 return(both ways) to vancouver via beijing

Thanks for the update. I need only one way and I have checked their fare and found even more expensive from Bangalore. From Delhi they have descent price but it is going to end up same to travel from Bangalore to Delhi and Vancouver from there.
