Hello, just wanna ask if I can pay EARLY my OWP fee, PR application Fee & RPRF fee? I'm already qualified to apply (under LCP) but still waiting my renewed passport from PCG Vancouver (just on the 6th weeks - and the embassy said take 8 weeks) and my employer wants to pay now the said fee's, becoz they will travel to Mexico for a month. So is it okay guys to pay 2 weeks earlier before I will submit my OWP & PR application? My employer will pay thru online payment using their credit card. Thanks a lot. (I'm just lucky enough that my employer will pay the half of the total fees for mine and my husband application fees)

Hi Honeysweetie,

Thats great! - your employer paying half of your fees.  I wish my employer do that too.

Anyways, I'm sorry I have no idea on your inquiry but just want to ask you something.  Do you have any other dependent or is it just your husband?  Coz, I am applying for my spouse too and do not have any other dependents.  I will apply this June.

Thanks.

Sorry I have no idea about paying fee because I'll complete 24 months at the end of this month but I just wanna say "WOW" your employer's so awesome!! Good luck to you

Hi Plussy

We are the same. I'll include my spouse for PR application too, I have no children.

Hi plussy, yes indeed kind and helpful. They will shoulder CAD1000 and I will pay CAD1230 (but they will pay the whole amount CAD2230 on their credit card so I will only get 1 Official Receipt. Btw just me and my husband living in the Philippines.

Hi kitt1517 we're on the same timeline then. I probably send my application 2nd week of April. I'm just so crazy waiting my passport from Phil. Embassy here in Vancouver. Good luck to all of us. God bless!

They can pay online then attach the receipts when you are ready with your application.

Hi kitt1517, yes they gave me the T4 slips last feb, filed my tax return and got the refund too Smiley I already have the taxable year 2009 and 2010 Option C Assessment Printout from CRA. And just a minute ago my employer gave me the Receipt online payment. Yes it's soo crazy waiting for something. I'm crazy waiting for my new passport renewed into my married name. Good luck to all of us.

You know what, your employer should've give you the T4 return end of February otherwise they will get a penalty for that amounting to $100. In my case last year 2009 taxable year my employer gave it to me 2nd week of March and they got a penalty amounting to $100 for not giving the T4 on time. That's why this year they gave it to me early.

They should give you your T4 now because you need to file your tax returns for 2010.

I was waiting for my 2010 T4, my employer gave it to me on the last day of Feb.
And I call the CIC, they said I could send my application as soon as I meet the require and I don't need to wait for file the tax.
I only sent the printout option C (2008,2009) coz i ordered before I filed the tax.
