Hi,
Thanks for your gesture. I am registered for 21st February. Finding it real hard to concentrate on studies, as it is difficult to strike a right balance with work, family and studies.
How do you rate the exam, was it difficult or easy. Also, did you took any preparatory classes or used any other resource which may be helpful to others.
Regards,

The test seems to be well designed. If you are good at English, you will have no problem in it. It is not necessary to take preparation classes but I would certainly recommend doing some practice tests. THe best ones I guess are: 1. New Insight into IELTS, Cambridge University Press 2. Cambridge IELTS 6 3. IELTS Practice Tests Plus 2, Longman
Practice makes perfect...

I like your confidence, really what band do you think you will be rated? Goodluck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My band score is not important here. I just wanted to share my very recent experinece with others. Anyhow, I am expecting an overall 8. Yes, I took the speaking test the day after the written one. It is just like a job interview and very natural. Again, if you are good at English, you'll have no problem with it.

Can you take IELTS more than one time if your first test score is not that great.
Thanks

Sure you can. There used to be a 3 month waiting between two consecutive tests but they lifted that limitation in 2006. You may sit the test as many times as you wish but remember that because test centers administer both Academic and General Training modules of the tests, it might not be possible to register for two GTs very close to each other.

Could you tell us about Computer Based IETLS, provided you have any information. Sorry, I have taken IELTS two times but they were both the normal paper based one. I think the computer based is only the Academic version which is no good for Canada immigration.
