Questions for Visa Application

Hi,

Starting with my situation first.
I'm still a student until December 2011, obviously not employed. I'm planning to have my first overseas trip on December for about 1 month (before I seek for jobs/start my career life), and also visit my friend who is currently studying in Canada, but she a dependent student visa holder only. My friend can just provide me a place to stay.

I've apply for Canada Visa about 1 week ago and I decide to reapply again.

So, I got rejected based on:
- my travel history
  * this is my first passport (just got it on 3 November 2011) and going to be my first travel trip, so is impossible to have any travel history. Wouldn't this be shown on the passport?

- my employment status
  * as I mention above, I'm still a student till December 2011, and I'm planning to travel on December 2011 till January 2012, and when I'm back on January 2012, it will be Chinese New Year holiday, so, I'm not planning to get a job till February 2012.

- my personal assets & income
  * I couldn't understand this, since I'm a student for the past years, not employed before, how am I going to have any income and own any personal assets? How am I going to solve this thing?

- insufficient information about my/my host's income/assets
  * I've provided my parents assets and income, is it referring to my friend's income/assets since she is going to provide me a place to stay? She is just a dependent student visa holder.

If I submit a letter explaining the purpose of my trip, explaining the points that I've got rejected previous application, will the officer read through it and consider about it?

Besides that, if I attach a letter about the form that provided by my college that I'm going to attend my graduation ceremony at March 2012, will that help?

Sorry for the long note, but I really looking forward to this trip and visiting my friend. Help please.

So basically you can't show any ties with your country of origin and this is a "red flag" for the officer processing your application and also being a "fresh graduate" at the time you make your visit, you might be tempted to find employment in Canada. Sure you can apply again but without changes in your circumstances, you may get the same response you got the first time.

You will have a better chance if you overcome the rejection points. First off, how do you intend to do the trip? Who's going to finance it? Your first travel abroad, why Canada? Your friend is not in a position to show financial support for you being a dependent and also on a visa (student?). Who would foot the bills should you need to undergo medical care? Who would pay for your fare back home should you fail to go back at the time/date on your round trip air fare should you be given a visa?

My parents is going to pay for my trip, including air fares, travel expenses, etc. My friend will just provide me a place to stay at her's relative house, but her relative is not going to provide any of his income nor assets since its p&c.

I choose Canada since my best friend is studying over there, visiting her, and spend my holiday before I seek for my career, and I'm going alone. My parents wouldn't let me go alone to a country without anyone who can look after me

Okay, give it a try. The visa officer sent you an itemized set of rejection points (were all options checked?) Overcome each of the rejection points (attach a copy of the letter of refusal) and address each item checked. All the best.

Okay, give it a try. The visa officer sent you an itemized set of rejection points (were all options checked?) Overcome each of the rejection points (attach a copy of the letter of refusal) and address each item checked. All the best.
