making this thread in hopes to create a page for all questions about the forms needed to fill out. hope this page will multiply quickly.

anyway... my question is very very simple. but it is something that is on my mind.

When filling out the forms, is it better to do it on the computer and then print it out and that way it is all nice and clean. Or is it better to just print the forms and write all the information in pen. We are about to start this process and we are letting the little details get to us.
especially the Application to Sponsor and Undertaking [IMM 1344A] in the top right corner is says protected when completed and there is a bar code thing that i am assuming gets put in after you fill it all out. so.... Am i forced to do this online?

we are getting everything ready for applying, however it might be another month until we are all ready. so i will have a date stamp in the bar code showing we filled everything out long before we applied.

just need some advice in how to fill everything out correctly. with pen or on the computer. which is best?

I called the CIC call centre to ask this same question. They said you could use a combination of both -  fill out everything you can on the computer as it's neater and easier for them to read, and anything you can't fit in by typing you can complete with pen after you have printed the forms.
