Questions about Tax year for my sponsor

When my sponsor is going do the tax thing..does the sponsor have to include me? We have not received anything from CIC about our common-law application..so I am still invalid and/or I do not have a social-insurance number if that would make a difference to the sponsors Tax..Anyone knows about this topic and we glady appreciate it thank you!
