hello everyone! like all of you, i'm also planning to migrate to canada. i want to do it on my own but i'm quite confused with the work experience part and the background part of the application, where you have to list down what i have been doing since i was 18 years old.

i am a nurse and i graduated in march 2007. i studied for the licensure exams from march to november and took it in december 2007. while waiting for the result, i worked as a freelance writer which, by the way, i ended up working for a whole year -- december 2007 to december 2008. the results for the licensure exams were released in march 2008 which i passed. january to march 2009, i was looking for a job as a nurse. i was interviewed in april and started work in may 2009 until the present.

my questions are:
1. do i still need to provide proof of my employment as a freelance writer even if it's considered a part time job? (i was working from home)
2. can i add that work experience to my experience working as nurse?

awaiting your replies guys.... Smiley
