Question: when to take the test?

Hi,

I saw the status of my citizenship application changed to "In Process" today, so, usually, when will I receive the letter to take the test?

Can you share your timeline please? What's city you're applying?

I submitted the application on Aug2010, and got the 1st letter in Nov2010. The status changed to "In process" in June2011. I just mailed the application according to the mail address on the application form, and I forgot which city it is.

Just an update, I saw the below change at CIC website. Anyone knows approximately when I will need to take the test?

"Your file was transferred to the Citizenship Vancouver office on August 16, 2011. The Citizenship Vancouver office will contact you if additional information is required. The Citizenship Vancouver office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete. "

 Your file was transferred to the Montréal CIC office on March 29, 2011. The Montréal CIC office will contact you if additional information is required. The Montréal CIC office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.
 

 We sent you a notice on July 25, 2011 to appear and write the citizenship test on August 16, 2011 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us
