Question...
«

My husband application got sent to the wrong visa office.
Until now it has not been received at the right visa office and when it finally dose arrive to the right place it will take about 1-2 months until they start to process it....
My husbands application now has been in delay for almost a month!!
So my question is, do u think it's possible to contact my local MP and ask him when my file dose arrive at the right place to put my application in a earlier received date? Like i mean instead of putting mine say in
"May 3rd"
pile, they'd put in
"April 15th"
pile.. which should have been in if it was sent to the right place at the beginning...
I don't know, i know it sounds kinda stupid, but its so frustrating that everyday is just passing for nothing... I really wanna go home..
So what do u guys think?? should I try?

ok,
Well, sometimes the MP can ask about ur application and why it is delayed or things like that (you can ask them to extend a deadline for you to submit documents). But I don't think that they can speed ur application. One time my professor told me that you can get more with honey than vinigar. and I do agree with her. I would just wait and don't blame them for mistakes (they have the power to delay your applicaiton and you will never know). We all make mistakes. I would just leave it at that.
I know people in the Cairo office have waited for 3 months for their application to be opened. In my case it was more than 1 month and a half. If you pass by that time, just send a gentel email to the Cairo office. It is in their website. Send it with your file ID, Kit ID and full names of you and your husband and brith date for both and inquire about it.
Fairouz :)
