Hi Gurus,

I will be landing in Canada this week on a work permit and valid LMO for 2 years with a fortune 100 company, However my question is if I start my PR process on the same day I land in.. how long it takes for me  to get a PR ? and what's the cost involved with a good lawyer ?

Any other info will be greatly helpful

Thanks

Yes, you can assuming you meet the requirements of the program under which you are applying.  The length of time it takes will depend on the program you choose as well as where the application will be processed.  Representatives set their own fees and will usually be dependant upon how much work is required.  It's not a "one-size fits all" type of thing because every application is unique and each program has different requirements.  PR applications will "normally" run between $2500 to $5000 in legal fees to complete, not including application fees.
