QUESTION REGARDING P.O.F.

After visa office  receives complete application package,  at what stage do they actually verify the P.O.F. ?    I have the complete funds but intend to use some of it after visa office receives complete application.  What space of time do I have to replace the used amount before they check P.O.F.    Please advise.  Do they call the bank directly or they ask for another bank statement?

1.  Depending on the office they may require a new bank statement before they issue the visa, and you will have to show POF when you "land"

Visa Office can check the POF at any time during the process. It can even ask you to file fresh statement/ proof. It is not right to remove POF till the pendency of application. Removing the money is considered as it is borrowed money and does not belong to applicant.  They can call bank directy also. If possible deposit again the required amount in the bank.

           Once Visa Office receives complete application,  what is the normal time frame for CHC to verify P.O.F. ?     I know they could verify at any time but what is the normal time frame?   Do they normally ask for POF again with medicals?

Hi Roger 55:
 I sent POF with complete documents to VO. 3 months later they asked for medicals,court certificates and POF again. Hope this helps.

They could ask anytime until the visa is stamped on your passport.
better keep the fund intact in your banks.

I have also read that some applicants are asked to provide a statement of net worth and 12 month bank statement.  If that was the case it would indicate the funds were not in the account for a period of time giving VO a reason to question why?
