Hi I am from Hong Kong holding a British citizen passport. My parents, my wife and I are planning to visit Canada next year for my cousin's wedding ceremony. However, my wife is from China and thus requires TRV to enter Canada, and there are a few questions about financial support that I am not that clear:

1.) As we are planning to stay for 10-14 days, how much fund she should have in her bank account statement? and that amount should be kept in her account for how long?

2.) As we are traveling together, can she use my bank statement as a financial support? If so, what would be the appropriate document (e.g. my passport, marriage certificate, flight tickets to prove that we are traveling together....) to be attached with her application?

3.) Just in case if the fund required is is too large that my wife and I cannot provide, will it be useful to attach my parents' financial support documents (I am not sure as both of us are already above 18)? Again, what would be the appropriate document to be attached with her application?

Thank you and I am looking forward to your reply!

Your wife would also need a letter of invitation and financial status from the inviting host.  I'm not sure how much should be in her and the host's account, but visa office normally accepts other assets such as stocks and house titles in her name.
