Question on Funds Required

Dear Members,

I have applied for PR under FSW1  including my spouse and 4years old kid . So I have show CAD 16967 funds as required for 3 family members.

I have FD's for CAD 4000 in my name. And rest of the money I got from my fatther recently and by selling some property ( land )  .

Now If I submit only the bank certificate , will this be adequate or else one needs to submit 6 months bank statment .

Please share your experinces.

You have to show all $17000 in your account and you should be able to prove that those all belong to you. You can not take money from your father. Yes, selling land is something that can be considered. Again, you should be able to show that it belonged to you or it was your part of property. Also, you will need 6 months' bank statement for submission.
