Hi to All!

I have some questions again..Hope you can help me, cos me and my wife are a bit confused.

1)What do we need to put in the intended occupation in IMM008ENU (General Application Form)? I am a project engineer, but Is it ok if I will not put my current occupation as my intended occupation because I believed that to be able to practice my field I should need to study first or get some certificate. Can I put a position a bit lower than this? Because the CIO might assume that I will have the hard time to find the job for "project engineer''

2) Lastly, In IMM0008 Schedule 3, Indicate total amount of assets.. Is there a factor if you put big or small amount of money? Because Im thinking if you have large sum of assets they will think that you can survive in Canada, because aside the settlement fund, you still have other money. If this is an advantage, do they check If you really have that amount? Or do they ask for some proof?

Thanks and Kind regards to all..

1. Intended occupation : matching  the NOC Code

As per CIC :

Applications from skilled workers with evidence of one year of continuous full-time or equivalent paid work experience in the last ten years in at least one of the National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes (and not combined partial year experience in multiple NOCs) specified in the Ministerial Instructions, up to a maximum of 10,000 new, complete applications per year with no more than 5% (500 applications) of this maximum in any one NOC category;

2. Give the approximate value of your assets in Canadian dollars.
Better it should be higher than your required minimum funds. You don't get any plus points if you show a very large sum of amount as your assets and CIC is not going to verify  your declared assets. The Proof of Funds  should be submitted as specified.

Hi Wilson! Thank you so much bro for answering my questions.  Smiley

My NOC is 7216, but I cannot just put "Contractors and Supervisors, Mechanic Trades " because it is too broad? So I will look into the Example titles for that NOC.. Is it correct?  Thanks again!
