Dear Forum:

I wonder if any of you tried sending your goods to follow through courier like fedex or ups?  I'm currently in the US.  After I land to canada and find my own place to stay, i will request my friend in the US to send me my boxes of goods to follow.  I estimate the boxes will only be around 3 boxes so i am planning to have it send via courier.

Questions:

1.  Do i need to send photocopy or original of stamped goods to follow list to my friend prior sending it to me?

2.  How do i claim my goods to follow when the boxes arrived in Canada?  I think fedex or ups ship goods door to door right? if that's the case, i am confuse how my boxes can be considered as duty/tax free since they are my goods to follow.

thanks.
