The visa office is asking us to clarify exactly what province we plan to reside in.
At this point, it will either be NS or NB, but we won't know for sure for at least a couple of weeks after we have landed in NS. (We need to check out some prospective properties in both provinces there and decide where to live!)

Does the visa paperwork on landing have any special reference to province? Is it any hassle to change our intended province of residence a couple weeks after landing? We're not planning to move to Quebec, it's going to be either NS or NB...

As long as it's not Quebec and you are not landing as a PNP or a person with an AEO then it is no problem.  You can land anywhere in Canada (even Quebec if you have proof of continuing travel).

Hi, Cheesy
There will not be any question for changing the province later,  either to NS or NB. It is up to you.
