Just wandering what types of question are asked during an interview for inland applicants for spousal sponsorship. I saw a list before but that looks like is for people who are outland or not living together.

If they wanted to verify that you live together as a couple, they could ask you all sorts of person questions. Like, what side of the bed does your partner sleep on, what colour is his toothbrush, questions about your daily routine... And also, most questions that apply for outland interviews can be asked here.

Are you being serious, Mitamata?  I can't even remember the colour of my OWN toothbrush, let alone my wife's!!

ANd the side of the bed?  If I am standing facing the bed, I sleep on the right side, but if I'm sleeping in the bed, I am on the left side.

You means decisions about residency turn on answers to such questions?

Good God!!

Yes, unfortunately sometimes it comes down to that. I have also heard of questions like "what colour underware was your spouse wearing on your wedding night", but somehow I don't believe they would actually ask that.
Obviously they're not going to reject you for not knowing the colour of a toothbrush, but if along with that you don't know what time your partner goes to work in the morning, what time they come home, when they usually go to bed, what side of bed they sleep on... Well, if you didn't know any of that, I don't think I'd believe you you've been living together.
Often the questions are related to something you failed to explain in your application or if there were any inconsistencies (ie sponsor said one thing, but applicant said another). There's also other questions, they especially like to ask about why you didn't have a religious wedding if you're from a part of the world where those are customary. I have heard of several people getting rejected because of this, but this seems to be a concern for outland applications, not inland.

Toby, you made me laught...but like mitamata said, the inland interview are like this, I have read over this forum and other that sometime when they don't believe the couple's marriage is geniune, they separate each one in a room , and ask them the same question and later on they check if they get the same answer...
