And CIC web site have status in process under Permanent Residence Application Status and says "We started processing application on May 29, 2008." My concern is that my wife never received a acknowledgment letter from Islamabad visa office that her file is start processing. Do my wife or I have to contact them or some thing else need to be done or its normal.

Thanks

If Islamabad sends an AOR (sometimes they don't in spousal cases) it is about 2 months after they received the file according to Trackitt.
