Question about processing time for AINP

Here is the processing time for the AINP:

Notification (pre-assessment)    Up to four months

Candidate assessment                  Up to four months

my question is:
Does the pre-assessment stage ends whenever we get a file number?

I believe yes. We get the "Notification" when "Pre assessment" is complete.

I am assuming that you are talking about H1B stream and not any other!!!

Notification means when they send email that we recieved you application.

so technically it should take 4 months after getting the file number ( Candidate Assessments starts), right?
