Dear friends,

When the LA Visa office requested my passport, the letter asked for 2 passport size picture. When I received my passport with Visa, one picture was attached to my COPR and the other picture was returned to me along with my university transcript of records.

When I landed, the officer did not ask for any picture from me.  I was wondering if the picture attached to COPR is the picture they will use for the PR Card?

Hi,
Exactly as you said. The photo on your COPR is enough. Your picture will be in thier system for ever. Visa office does not keep extra copies of photos and therefore they returned one  which was not used. They asked extra only for safe reasonsthat incase one is damaged the other can be used.

You will get your PR card in time.Goodluck.

But those pics aren't supposed to be "pp sized" -- it should be "immigr. sized" -- there's a "face-to-frame" dimensions to maintain & a b/ground requirement. I hope the OP got that right - else, the PR cards could be delayed/stalled.
