At last I just completed my 25 months including paying of my 1 month vacation last year Smiley

Anyway here's my question about Option C Printout. Is it ok now to call the CRA 1-800-959-8281 to ask for that doc? I just asked my employer today if she paid already my taxes for the month of Jan 2011 and Feb 2011. She told me that not yet since she's paying quarterly so probably she will pay 2nd week of April 2011. Is it ok to call now CRA to get the Option C Printout even though the said 2 months is not included yet on their system(obviously!) since my employer don't pay yet? Thanks guys for the response.

Hi

I recieved my Option C last month.  They based my printout from the 2009 Notice of Assessment.  This is my first year as a caregiver.

My question is, do we have to submit the recent Option C printout?  Is my Option C printout acceptable?  My 24-month LCP will end this May 2011.

Thanks

hello there!! as i believe, the option C that is given to you is your taxes paid ANNUALLY! so, they option C will only give you the 2009 & 2010 (im not sure if 2010 i already available since its jst start of the tax season)

thanks!

Ok Thanks guys. I just got my tax refund (taxable year 2010) a week ago. I got two Notice Of Assessment already (taxable year 2009 & 2010) are these enough? These are the documents attached in my check (tax refund) for the said taxable years. Or do I still need to call CRA for the Option C Printout? Appreciated for sharing your experiences. God bless!

Hi

Perfect.  I'll be waiting for 2010 Notice of Assessment before calling CRA to ask for my 2010 Option C.

Thanks Lanz15 and Honeysweetie.   Smiley

I need to get Option C printout for applying PR after 2 years LCG.

I read above messages, and now having question.

My 2 years finished in April 2011, and still working with same employer till i get PR.
How can I get or prove that I worked Jan to Apr, these 4 months in 2011, if option C printout show only 2009 and 2010.
Please someone help me.
Thank you.

The letter from your employer stating that you are still working with them and also the statement of earnings, deductions from your employer. Hope this helps!

My friend are i are just talking about this the other day, we will pass our owp end of september, and i was telling her that she can call the cra for this option c printout, and she just told me that she would just call at the end of september so that her tax contribution is 24 months, i told her that 2011 will not reflect init cause what  CRA gave me is only 2009 and 2010. I even called july and i will complete my 22 mo ths by end of sept.

Option C Print Out is to let CIC WHEN did you exactly started as LCP. Payslips will let CIC if you completed the required hours/months. So if you got only one or two taxable year you will be fine as long as you get your first year Option C Printout. Good luck.
