Hi Thanks for all the advice we have been getting here. I have gone through the topics on applying PR, Landing etc and now have a very clear understanding of the process, I will be applying for the FSW after new list is out in June End. I have a few questions though.

  • What will be the impact of May 2011 elections in Canada? Is there a possibility of Government change or PR Policies change?
  • Do CIO/CIC or CHC ND withhold the applications for FSW PR?
  • After the Elections is there any expectation of change in Occupation list?

The following question is off the topic of Elections, there are a lot of informative threads from Qorax, one of them is starting in Canada after landing. I know from my experience in Australia as a student there were 3-4 person sharing a unit of 2 BHK and saving on the rent for the same.

My question is, is there a similar practice in big cities of Canada like Toronto which is most recommended city for landing? If yes how much can one expect the rent to be?

Please forgive me if these questions are repetitive as was not able to find them in forums.

Regards and thanks in advance.

Hi Seniors and respected forum members, it has been 4 days and still no updates, is no one thinking about the effects of elections on immigration?

Please reply to other questions at least even if you do not want to comment on effect of elections.

Regards
