question about live-in caregiver

You can but you must comply with the requirements of applying for a live in caregiver.

thanks. yes, i checked that website already but it did not say that you can or cant bring your relative/sister under that program.

You must bring her in as a worker under the live in caregiver program, and as such go through the process of hiring a foreign worker. Once you have a positive LMO in her name she can then apply for a work permit You can also sponsor her under family stream but only if she is under 18 years old.

what you mean by family stream? does it mean family sponsorship? i have already file an application to sponsor my family including her 5 month ago, got the AOR but as you know it takes 4-5 yrs. is it going to effect if i already sponsor my family including her when i apply under live in caregiver program to bring her here?

Yes, family sponsorship. no, you can have two applications going. Where are they coming from? Getting her as a foreign worker would be faster. Some areas process faster than others.

from pakistan. i really need her to be here to help me for my kids as me and my husband work full-time. so it would be great if she comes here as live in caregiver. i can hire someone else but dont trust in these days on anyone and my son is a bit of handful, can get anyone crazy he was backhome when he was 2 and pretty comfortable with my sister. i checked the advertisement requirment, i have to advertise the postion and then reason of denying canadian applicants etc. can i tell them the above reason as to why i cant have anyone hire for my kids?

As long as the applicants are not Canadian citizens or Canadian PRs. PM me.
