Well today I got my letter in the mail stating my landing interview is on June 23rd at 1:15am.

Given the situation with my lost passport I can not take it with me.

However, it says on the letter the following:

Please bring with you:

A valid passport, identity or travel document

Does this mean I could take my New Zealand Drivers license, my work permit or something else?

Thanks

Kieran

I would advise you to go your local office, you can find its address on the top of the letter you just received, at your CIC local office you would explain your situation and find the accurate answer for your question. In case the answer is that you can't land without your passport you could reschedule your landing appointment on the same visit. Do it before June 23rd. Good luck!

Have you tried calling CIC Calgary?  That's my suggestion, call them and ask them if your license will be enough.  On another note you wrote 1:15 am, do you mean 11:15 am is your landing time.  We are landing on the same day too at 1pm!

I don't have the number for them, they said on the letter for any info to fax or write a letter ( weird )

I will fax them a little letter tomorrow and see what they say. I am really hoping I don't need it

lovely20 - we'll just miss each other!

No you need your passport. When I landed, the girl in front of me did not have hers and was refused. Told to go home and re apply for the landing interview.

Can you not replace the passport before the interview, attaching a copy of the interview letter to make sure your application  gets the fast track?
