Question about IMM5401

Hope this isn't a dumb question.... when we check the IMM 5401 status online, do we enter the sponsors or the applicants name?

Do you mean you want to check your PR application status on line ?.

The IMM 5401 is the form for the receipt, so I am assuming you mean logging into e-CAS.

I would try both, but try the applicant information first.  If the applicant already has a client ID number (ie, written on visitor visa), then use that with the applicant info.  If not, try the receipt number with the sponsor's info.
