Question about FSW forms

I was wondering if the immigration officers go through your past visa/study permit forms submitted in the past when first coming to Canada? I'm in Canada as a student applying in Buffalo and there is some details I've mentioned in my FSW forms that I did not mention in my previous study permit and TRV forms. Please note I do have a file number and recieved my 2nd AOR from buffalo but this just hit me. To what extent are these past details evaluated if they are?
Thanks

Ok incase that wasnt clear, I have an ongoing application under FSW and a file number. Still waiting for a response from Buffalo regarding the matter.

Of course CIC can track all the previous files from their data bank or from archives where microfilms of closed files have been stored.
In order to know the time lines of Buffalo visa office I would suggest you to view the Buffalo office thread in this forum. There are lot of posts in that thread.
