My spouse and I are both dual nationals. I applied as FSW but when spoke with my lawyer he indicated there was not a need to disclose both nationalities on the applications.  SO when we completed the applications we both listed only our primary nationalities and submitted copies of those passports.  We were just asked for updated background checks and the new UK check listed both my spouses nationalities and passports #s.  Will this cause a problem with the processing of our application?  We have already completed medicals and submitted our updated proof of funds - I think we are close but do not know if this will cause delays now.  Any ideas or input??

I am not an expert at Canadian Immigration.
Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

I really do not know why we did not.  We have Nationalities based on family ties. We never spent anytime living in the countries (Western EU Countries) and therefore just did not really think it through.  We have nothing to hide - I think it was just a lack of knowledge and we got bad advise from our lawyer but he seems to think it is not a material thing and should have no consequence.  Maybe we just worry too much.   Thanks for your input.
