Hi Everyone!

I have been here in Canada more than 4 years now. But I just gotten my PR last Aug. 9, 2009 along with my son, aged 11 at that time, who got into Canada Oct. 3,2009. My Canadian husband filed for us under  In Canada class Family sponsorship. I will be eligible to file for Citizenship after August of this year. My question is....does my son need to be here for 1095 days too before he can become citizen? I want us to be in the same application, but I am not sure since he's only been in Canada for almost 2 yrs or is the said calculation not applicable to minors?

          Thank you.

No, as long as your son is under 18, is a permanent resident and is residing in Canada, he can be included in your application, without having 1035 days of residence.
