Hi there.
I have a working permit that will expire march, 2012.
But I was laid-off on end of November, Last year(30th, November, 2010).
I am waiting for LMO approval for new job offer from new company.

I found some information about "Application to change conditions" at CIC.
It says i have to update my status within 90 days if my status condition is changed.

In my case, Do I need to submit above application such as extending my staying as visitor even though I have available working permit expiration remained ?

I am confused what I have to do at this situation.
Thank you very much for your advice.

Nothing, your work permit is still valid although you are not working.  If you get a new LMO, you apply for a new work permit.

I was laid off in Nov 2008 TWP valid until June 2010.

I was told I could stay in canada until the TWP expired the only restriction seemed to be finding employment in the same category as my existing TWP. I  got a new job offer, with a +ve LMO and applied for a new TWP. It took about 11 months all told.
