Hi,

this might sound like stupid question...On page 3 it asks me to indicate the total number of years of formal education that I have had.   where do I start...Is this from primary school, kindergarten or high school (secondary school)?

Thanks Smiley

depends on wht option u had put in the section "highest level of education" for example: if u put "secondary or less" option then number of years would be "10 /12" according to my knowledge.

Don't worry...this question should be straight forward but we too had a hard time "getting it right"

All said and done we just included more information than necessary and on a separate sheet gave an explanation. We also had emails from my husbands schools (it's been a long time since he finished school so we needed confirmation)

I wouldn't worry too much about kindergarten.

If it makes you feel better provide more information than necessary... We too would rather be safe than sorry.

Good luck!

Please excuse any erroneously typed words...darn auto correct gets me all the time!

Don't include kindergarten or preschool. Normally, in Canada, there will be 12 years of schooling until high school graduation, then 3 or 4 years of university, then whatever for law school, grad studies, etc.
If your country's system is substantially different, you can always attach a letter explaining things in more detail.
