Hello,

We are done with our medicals in april and expecting the PPR anytime now (hope it will come soon). There is a small query in my mind.....

we r planning to go to canada after visa stamping for landing formality and will come back after getting the PR card. Now if a PR card holder gives birth to a baby outside canada, what would be the procedure to get the baby to canada and how long will it take??

Assuming that you are a PR and the baby is born in a non visitor visa exempt country, then one parent will have to return to Canada to submit a sponsorship to Mississauga.  See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/fc.html  For processing times see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/06-fc-children.html
