Hi ,
As I hear from different folks in the forum, CHC new send medical and PPR request at the same time and processing times are quite unpredictable. As I am working in australia it will be diffcult to take a leave from work for an idefinite period. It is possible to get the medical sent to VO when the medical and PPR request is recieved and later wait for a PPR request(after application is approved). This will allow me to take a 3 week leave and get passports stamped.

If anyone working/staying abroad has done this before kindly advice.
