Hi,

I have sent my initial application and visa specfic forms last year. I was already married when I sent my initial application. My application status is Received by Visa office. My passport was expiring so I renewed the passport and added spouse name as well.

I have sent email to Delhi visa office informing the same and sent scanned copy of bio date page. There was no response and in E-case status is still shows maiden name.

I am planning to send notary copies of all pages of new passport with cover letter to be on safe side.

Please let me know if anyone has done this process ? Any specific form for name change or any other document.

Thanks,

Your visa processing  could be delayed if you insist to change the name at this stage. If you have already sent the copy of passport to visa office, just leave it to them and wait.
