I have plans to travel to Canada next year on a work permit. I will stay and work for 1 year in Canada. I have a daughter who is 2.5 years old. In order to take care of her, I plan to take my mother with me while I am there in Canada.

Please let me know if I can get a tourist visa for my mother taking into account that I have not yet visited Canada, I will take her long with me and my daughter.

Also, I came to know that visitor visa is valid for six months. I will stay for 1 year. Can I get my mother's visa extended for 6 more months?
