Quebec - Study Permit while in PR application

Hi...my spouse and I used to live in Montreal and are now living back in the US (we're US citizens), and are considering applying for PR status to go back to MTL. I understand from the other big Quebec thread that, at a minimum, it would take us 14-18 months from date of application to landing (6 months for CSQ, 8-12 months for federal...are these right if one has priority selection for CSQ?). My spouse was considering studying up there in September in a year-long intensive French program...I'd come along as an accompanying spouse on her study permit, but my job would be remote (in the US). Does anyone know how this would impact our application for PR if we submit this now? Would it mess things up since we'd move in to Canada in the middle of our application? Thanks!
