Dear All,

I am thinking to apply for QUEBEC PR. I have meet all the criteria like Education, experience, Partner, Balance and English Language Requirement. Now my worry is I dont have any skills in french language. I am planning to learn at first priority but it will take about a year.

So, If I apply without french language skills, are there any chances for refusal? or can I apply first and submit IELTS score and French Score after two to three months?

I would really appreciate if anyone can help me with this query?

If you have enough score now without French, you may apply.But be sure to register for French lessons and prepare for the interview.Its usually done in French,but some may be conducted in English.Due to this uncertainty, of the language the immigration officer will use, its best to be prepared.

Hello All,

Would like your help: Can I apply now and change my status from single to married later in the year (2012)? Im sure that my fiance will be studying french and we would make up the points when i change my status. The reason is I do not want to wait unti the wedding which is next year before i apply..

   Its wrong to give false information on your application.You may lose out at the long run.There are many ways to legitimately add your spouse to your application at the right time.

@ talk2melas: I'm actually sending a single application right now.. My challenge is should I add my spouse later or have him apply as a single applicant?
would doing a change of status affect or delay my application?

If you have enough points as a married applicant, Idon't think adding him will be a problem but that is left to the immigration officer to determine.If he qualifies as a single applicant, thats even better.
