Hi all, i had received a letter from Quebec immigration on 10th of June, 2010 and according to which my name is on their waiting list for the Selection certificate interview which will held at New York on unspecified date...My question is, when i can receive my actual date for the interview after getting this letter from them or when they can possibly call me for the Interview at NY  .... anyone already had experience with this/interview, please share it and any advice from your side will be much appreciated  Thanks |

can u please tell us whats ur visa office? when did u file ur case? and after filing, which letters have u received from them?

yes sure, I live in Canada under work permit, I sent my file on 31st January 2010 at Montreal (Quebec), and very quick, received my first letter from them on 10th Feb 2010 showing me my File Number, on 10th June 2010 I had received second letter telling me that i am on their waiting list for being interview at New York but they didn't mentioned any date for interview in this letter, my french is OK as I am Basic French user and yesterday i sent my DELF A1 score to Quebec Immigration office with the guess if they can change their mind for calling me on interview ..... thats it!! ... what do you think? ...any advice or opinion on it? ....... thanks |

Hi buddies. Till date i am still waiting for their reply regarding if they or when they call me for interview. My temporary stay as a foreign worker is going to be expire in coming September first week, 2010. So what do u guys suggest me to do in case i didn't hear anything from Quebec Immigration and my legal stay in Canada expires during the time???  merci beacoup |

@ Sher singh... i am also in the same stage..got letter from my visa office in hong kong. I mailed them as a query that what could be the date of interview and the said END OF THE YEAR...well i guess it will be October or November..you could do the same with your visa office..might help..

tnx shahi for ur reply, yes i think i shud ask them about interview date. Shahi when did u apply for CSQ and how did u ask them like u personally went to the office in HK or sent them an e-mail or called to them regarding ur interview query? Thanks |

I did the same and lets c what they reply me back and then let u know as well Till date i received only two letters from them. First ( on 9th Feb 2010) - Acceptance of my File and issuing me File No. Second ( 10th June 2010) - My Interview will be at New York but my Number is on their waiting list for which later on they will provide me a specific Date for interview which i didn't receive yet. |

i got two as well... 1st AOR on 25 May...and 2nd on July 3 that my name is on interview list..date to be given later...i hope it happens really soon.
